Facilities

Rooms/spaces.

One row per item, the plainest possible view.

The production unit ends first. That date shapes next years planning more than the shop does.

What it does

Behaviours, not fields. Choosing between two modules is choosing between these.

Spaces you pay for, with the date each agreement ends — which is the field that shapes planning.

Cost per facility, so the total occupancy cost is one number rather than four invoices.

Rolling agreements are marked as such, because they are the ones with no natural review point.

How it works

  1. 1

Spaces you pay for are listed with their agreements and costs.

  2. 2

The earliest end date is the one that shapes the next plan, and it is rarely the obvious one.

  3. 3

Rolling agreements are marked as such, because they have no natural review point.

  4. 4

Total occupancy cost is one figure rather than four invoices.

Best for

Reading and scanning. It is the right default more often than it looks.

Not the right choice for

Comparing many fields at once — use a table.

What a row holds

Every field, and what the agent listens for to fill it — which is the difference between a page you type into and one that fills itself.

FieldTypeFilled from
FacilityrequiredtextThe space, as it is referred to internally.
TyperequiredtextLease, licence, storage — the kind of agreement it is.
CostrequiredmoneyWhat it costs per period, so total occupancy is one number.
Agreement endsrequiredtextWhen it expires, or Rolling. The field that shapes planning.

What it does not do

A module chosen for something it cannot do costs more than one that was never offered.

  • No lease terms beyond the end date — break clauses and rent reviews are notes at best.
  • No utilities or service charges unless entered as separate facilities.
  • Cost is per period as entered, and mixing monthly with weekly produces a meaningless total.
  • No documents attached; the lease itself belongs in Documents.

Before it works

What you have to provide, if anything.

  • Enter every space, including storage. The forgotten lock-up is usually the one that auto-renews.
  • Pair with Documents for the agreements and Reminders for the renewals.

In practice

A business with a shop, a workshop, storage and a market pitch.

When does the Atelier Nord lease actually end?
What was said to the agent

What the agent built

Four facilities with types, monthly costs and agreement end dates.

What changed

The production unit ended two years before the shop. That date, not the shop lease, became the anchor for the next plan.

Questions

What data does the Facilities page use?

It reads place records the agent has collected. Rooms/spaces. Nothing has to be imported first — the page appears once there is something to show.

Do I have to build or configure it?

No. You describe what you need in a sentence and the agent chooses the view and fills it. Custom pages exist for the cases no built-in view covers, and those are reviewed before they go live.

When is a list the wrong choice?

Comparing many fields at once — use a table. It is best for: reading and scanning. It is the right default more often than it looks.

Does it stay up to date?

Yes. The page is a view over the data rather than a copy of it, so anything the agent learns afterwards shows up without a rebuild or a re-import.

Ask for it in a sentence

You do not configure this page. You tell your agent what you need and it builds it from what it has already collected.
